My satellite was messing up for the last week and a half, and I just got the new receiver in yesterday. But I missed the last two House eps and a some Daily Shows/Colbert Reports. >< Since, for some reason, the last ep of House had NO RERUNS I downloaded it. >< (I usually wouldn't but... NO RERUNS?). And I have to find a rerun of last night's House too (didn't get the satellite all in and running until 11pm...). Hopefully that ep will rerun, don't want to do more downloading.

I finally have a B in AP Chem. I've been in the C range for a while. I hope I can keep the B. :/

I have a new laptop, since my old one is dieing. I still need to get all my stuff off of it though. My dad got me this one because it was such a good deal, $350. My mom keeps on blaming me for killing my old computer in less than two years though, when it's not my fault. >< It's overheating, yeah, but there have been similar complaints from owners of that brand computer, meaning it's the computer company not me. I swear I took good care of it! It was an Averatec... non name brand, you know.

It's homecoming week. Tomorrow's theme is "Transform It" Thursday. As the announcements inform us, "Change you style. If you change your gender, you'll get a REFERRAL. :D" Ugh. It's one thing to tell us it's supposed to be style not gender change, but do you really have to threaten us repeatedly with referrals? I'm going to wear my old Hot Topic pants and... maybe my Sasuke shirt? And borrow my friend's fake emo glasses... and if Sheila's around, I'm going to ask her to put some Raccoon Black Eyeliner on me. I'm not going to homecoming though. Some of my friends are going but... I don't like crowds, don't like dancing, don't like most popular music, don't like wearing dresses, and they're only serving chips and not any real food. Bah. $30 for that? No wai.

I'm trying to decide if I should spend $191.69 (this is when teh tax is added) on this camera. Then I wouldn't have to share the camera with my mom (she always keeps it with her, so whenever I want it she's somewhere gone with it). It's small, and blue, and only a little bigger than the cute little camera my mom has, and it's on sale, and the shipping is free. I've wanted a camera of my own... and I have enough money saved up... and it's almost Christmas/Birthday again, so I'll probably get more money then... It's very temping.

I need to download the LJ client on this computer. I can't spell check it. And I went to spell check it in Word, then remembered that I haven't installed that yet either. Eh, whatever. The spelling's good enough.

Oh, and did I mention I'm drowning in school work? :D Oh, and next month is NaNo. I'll try again... maybe even win this time. Maybe.

Oh, this thing DOES have a spell checker! Wow, I really haven't used the site in ages, always going through the client. Actually, now that I use it, I remember it. XD;;;

Okay, I've never really been an avid LJer. I know this. I could probably make, should make, more journal entries. But I don't. I have, however, always kept up with my friends page (as long as it has gotten). I stuck to this for 4 years. Even as I joined, quit, rejoined, quit Neopets. Even as I joined, quit for 3 years, rejoined, hiatused (can that be a verb?) a few months, rejoined Gaia. And, like, a million other sites.

But now I haven't check my LJ friends page since June, I believe. And I forgot how I relied on it for some things too. I'm used to checking a few webcomics, but forgot I relied on LJ for my updates of Girly and Kagerou, and found quite a few pages to catch up on with Kagerou. And I relied on it for some news. And I relied on it for... laughs... and stuff... interesting stuff?

Maybe I just need a break. As I said, most sites I would have quit by now (and probably rejoined, come to think of it). It been a while, yes, but... I'm still not really to go check that friends page.

I have a lot to say. Like, I finished Harry Potter last night. Such as, I'm in Rhode Island, Brown University, doing a summer course in Engineering. Also, last weekend, and the weekend before, I went to Boston for the first times. Lost of things to say, about it all, and I think about it, what I would write in my LJ, but I never follow through.

But, as I said, I've never been a big LJer. Never been good at making entries. Good at reading. Good at commenting.

All is not lost though, LJ. I don't want to quit yew. I still think of you. I just need a little break. Well, a longer break, as I've had a few weeks of break already.
